General Admissions Tests:

Our general admissions tests not only measure students’ cognitive ability, but also identify non-cognitive risk factors which can prevent students from succeeding. These assessments measure students’ ability to learn, adapt, solve problems and understand instructions. They can also be used to predict students’ likelihood to succeed academically and complete your program.

Student Placement:

Our math and English skills tests measure students’ verbal and math skills based upon job requirements. For students entering higher-level college or online programs, the Wonderlic Advanced Math and Verbal Skills (WAST) assessment can help you understand what classes students are ready for and what remedial training they may require.

Ability-to-Benefit:

In 2015, a new version of the Ability to Benefit (ATB) provision restored Pell Grant eligibility for adult students who lack high school credentials. Title IV eligibility through ATB provisions is now limited to students who are enrolled in Career Pathways programs. These programs integrate adult basic education with college-level coursework, lead to an industry-recognized credential, and can be the first step toward an academic certificate or degree. Such programs also must be aligned with local labor markets and provide support services to help students.

Wonderlic offers Department of Education approved online and paper ATB tests in English, and offers the ONLY Spanish language test approved by the Department of Education.

In addition, Wonderlic provides training, certification, support and monitoring of Independent Test Administrators (ITAs) approved to administer the ATB test.

Prior Learning Assessments:

Students can be more engaged and more likely to complete your programs when awarded credit for prior learning. Schools that offer credit through prior learning assessments (PLAs) can have a major recruiting advantage. Wonderlic offers PLAs that have proven validity and reliability, vetted by industry leaders.

Wonderlic currently offers PLAs for a variety of allied health and criminal justice programs.
