Description
Identifying gaps in work readiness before a youth begins a job is an important step in their growth process. This quick and effective survey allows you to discover the areas in which a youth needs help, and to evaluate their progress as they move through your program, resulting in improved behaviors and attitude critical to future employment success.
Content
Survey items were developed based on the competencies and personal qualities identified by the Secretary’s Commission on Achieving Necessary Skills (SCANS) as necessary to succeed in the workplace
You’ll meet the growth requirements for WIA youth summer employment programs funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, while ensuring youth understand employer expectations.
You will gain an understanding of youth attitudes towards the following:

Implementation
You can choose to have your youth participate in the assessment online or on paper. Individual and group level results are provided for both pre and post survey administrations.
