Description
Wonderlic Interactive Skills Evaluations (WISE) measure knowledge and skills for a wide range of the most commonly used Microsoft® software applications. WISE tests can be self-administered via the Internet.
Content
WISE offers Standard and Expert level software skills tests that quickly and accurately measure an individual’s skills with common Microsoft Office programs. Job candidates can be tested at your location, from your Website or via email invitation.
WISE tests are interactive simulations with realistic interfaces that respond just like the actual software. WISE reports provide percentile scores for beginning, intermediate and advanced items.
Standard skills assessment modules have 30 to 35 items and take 20 to 35 minutes to complete. Expert modules contain 45 to 50 items and require 30 to 45 minutes to complete. You receive candidate results via email within minutes.
WISE is also a fair and effective means of assessing current employees. Trainers use a Microsoft Office test, a Microsoft Word test or a test of other Microsoft software packages to establish skill levels and document training effectiveness.

Purpose
WISE is used in the hiring process to quickly verify whether job candidates have the necessary software skills. It is also used to assess the skill levels of current personnel to focus training and reduce training costs. WISE modules can be used to benchmark skills needed for particular positions, establish training needs or evaluate individuals for promotion.
WISE eliminates the need to use a candidate’s self-reported assessment of their own software skills when making important hiring or promotion decisions.
