Description
The Hay Aptitude Test Battery consists of three short tests of speed and accuracy and a short warm-up test. These are used to identify individuals who can work quickly and accurately with alphabetical and numerical detail. The Hay tests are ideal for detail-oriented positions such as clerical jobs, bank tellers, cashiers, warehouse workers and other positions requiring intense work with names and numbers.

They measure a job candidate’s ability to compare numbers and names for accuracy, use short-term memory effectively and quickly identify numeric relationships. Hay test scores reflect both the speed and accuracy with which the candidate performs these basic tasks.
Hay tests are available individually or as a battery:

A 1-minute exercise that can reduce test-taking anxiety. - Number Perception Test
A 4- minute test that helps assess numerical character recognition and short-term memory retention. - Name Finding Test
A 4-minute test that helps measure alphabetical character recognition and short-term memory retention. - Number Series Completion Test
A 4-minute test that helps evaluate the ability to recognize, comprehend and make inferences about numerical relationships.
